This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which Himangshu Mishra ("Developer") processes refunds and cancellations for our web development services.
1. Project Cancellation
Client-Initiated Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a project or service, the following terms apply:
- Within 48 hours of payment: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee
- After project commencement but before first deliverable: 70% refund of initial payment
- After first deliverable but before project completion: 50% refund of initial payment, with no refund for milestone payments already made for completed work
- After project completion: No refund
Developer-Initiated Cancellation
If we need to cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances:
- Full refund for services not rendered
- We will provide all completed work and assets
- When possible, we will recommend alternative service providers
2. Monthly Service Cancellations
For ongoing monthly services (maintenance plans, retainers):
- 30-day written notice required for cancellation
- No refunds for the current billing period
- Service continues until the end of the paid period
- No cancellation fees for future periods
3. Refund Timeline
All approved refunds will be processed within the following timeframes:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days
- UPI/Net Banking: 3-7 business days
- Bank Transfers: 7-14 business days
The exact timing depends on your payment method and banking institution.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following items are non-refundable:
- Third-party services purchased on your behalf (domain names, hosting, plugins, themes)
- Completed work that meets the agreed-upon requirements
- Custom development that has been delivered and approved
- Rush fees for expedited services
5. Quality Guarantee
If you're dissatisfied with the quality of our work:
- Notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery
- Clearly describe the issues and how they deviate from agreed requirements
- We will make reasonable efforts to address valid concerns at no additional cost
- If issues cannot be resolved, a partial refund may be issued at our discretion
6. Dispute Resolution
In case of disputes regarding refunds:
- Submit your concern in writing to himangshu@mishra.codes
- We will respond within 7 business days
- If we cannot reach an agreement, disputes will be resolved according to the terms in our Terms & Conditions
7. Force Majeure
No refunds will be issued for delays or inability to deliver services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters or extreme weather events
- Government actions or restrictions
- Acts of terrorism or war
- Internet service provider failures
- Widespread power outages
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to complete the services as soon as practicable.
8. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
